"One of the pleasures of watching True Blood, beyond the charms of Eric Northman and the multiple pronunciations of Sookie, is the sex. Season after season, new supernaturals pop into Bon Temps, and the only thing you can be sure about the werewolves, werepanthers, fairies, and witches in the mix is that they'll like to get down just as much as the humans and vampires living there already do. In seasons past, audiences have been treated to everything from a big gyrating Dionysian orgy to an in flagrante Exorcist-style head twist: Just last week, werepanthers forced Jason Stackhouse into becoming a baby daddy many times over, with the help of some Viagra. Given all the action, Vulture decided it was time to get organized about things: Which characters have had the most sex, and of what kind? We've counted up and charted every single instance of the different kinds of sex seen on the show (sex with biting, sex in dreams, sex tied up, sex on V, dry humping, oral sex, and much more — even those relatively vanilla moments when Alan Ball sees fit to pan away and not show us all the dirty details) and indicated how many times each character has partaken in them. Check out our handy True Blood sex index and hope Tara is taking the proper precautions." Click here

"A man in Kansas City was arrested yesterday afternoon for sexually assaulting a woman on the sidewalk in the middle of the day. When the cops discovered him with his pants unbuckled trying to run away, he told them, "I thought that lady was dead." Oh man.
Apparently the victim was walking down the street and felt lightheaded so she sat down on the sidewalk and then passed out. This is when Melvin L. Jackson removed her underwear and sexually assaulted her. She came to when someone was yelling for the perp to get off of her. He did and a nearby police officer found him trying to fasten his pants and Jackson explained he touched "a lady's leg."
"I thought that lady was dead. Did that lady say I did something to her? I have the right to remain silent," he went on to say. There are so many disturbing things about this story, I don't even know where to start. The real lesson here is to just stay out of Kansas City, because there are roving mobs of necrophiliacs everywhere." Source
"Two new studies done in three African countries have shown for the first time that AIDS drugs taken daily can cut by more than half a person’s chance of becoming infected with HIV through heterosexual intercourse.
The results, announced early Wednesday, provide more evidence that the drugs responsible for saving the lives of millions of HIV-infected people over the last 15 years may also be the most useful tool for preventing new infections."
i dont understand the purpose of saying "heterosexual intercourse", or why they thought that it would only work for gay ppl and not str8, but whatever.
"As Dominique Strauss-Kahn, head of the world’s most powerful financial institution, the International Monetary Fund (IMF), spends a few nights in Rikers Island prison awaiting a hearing, the world is learning a lot about his history of treating women as expendable sex objects. Strauss-Kahn has been charged with rape and forced imprisonment of a 32-year-old Guinean hotel worker at a $3,000-a-night luxury hotel in New York.
While the media dissects the attempted rape of a young African woman and begins to dig out more information about Strauss-Kahn’s past indiscretions, we couldn’t help but see this situation through the feminist lens of the “personal is political.”
For many in the developing world, the IMF and its draconian policies of structural adjustment have systematically “raped” the earth and the poor and violated the human rights of women. It appears that the personal disregard and disrespect for women demonstrated by the man at the highest levels of leadership within the IMF is quite consistent with the gender bias inherent in the IMF’s institutional policies and practice." "MTV banned Kanye West 's Monster video cuz feminine activist insist that it portrays women as sex dolls and disposable objects n' such. Not to sound like a bore or anything but I agree with the ban, plus the video makes Ye look like a necrophiliac. Dead bodies cant be art.
'The mainstreaming of videos like this increases desensitized and callous attitudes toward violence against women,” said Reist, one of the campaign originators. “Young people are seeing images and absorbing harmful messages which glamorise misogyny and brutalise women. Women are reduced to sex-doll like playthings. So great is the level of desensitization that the barbaric treatment of women and girls is seen as normal and to be expected. We decided to run this campaign because we wanted to challenge the status quo.'" Source
since where on the subject, i discovered her last night as i was sifting thru the "independent" section of my instant Netflix. She played in this wonderful movie called "Room in Rome". It was an excellent movie for more than just its provocative nature. In my opinion, although in America the nature of the film isnt we delve into, especially with such respect and understanding, everything about it was well thought out and executed. It was passionate, artistic, exciting, intense, feminine, funny, and sexy.
here are both the foreign and the American trailers. I put both because i feel that the foreign one is very vague on the actual movie BUT perfectly invoke the energy of the film. Whereas, the American trailer give u a full idea of what its about but in a very cheesy and somewhat seedy way. Balance, i suppose.
"Black Swan follows the story of Nina (Natalie Portman), a ballerina in a New York City ballet company whose life, like all those in her profession, is completely consumed with dance. She lives with her retired ballerina mother Erica (Barbara Hershey) who zealously supports her daughter’s professional ambition. When artistic director Thomas Leroy (Vincent Cassel) decides to replace prima ballerina Beth MacIntyre (Winona Ryder) for the opening production of their new season, Swan Lake, Nina is his first choice. But Nina has competition: a new dancer, Lily (Mila Kunis), who impresses Leroy as well.
Swan Lake requires a dancer who can play both the White Swan with innocence and grace, and the Black Swan, who represents guile and sensuality. Nina fits the White Swan role perfectly but Lily is the personification of the Black Swan. As the two young dancers expand their rivalry into a twisted friendship, Nina begins to get more in touch with her dark side with a recklessness that threatens to destroy her."
let me 1st say that i was thrilled once i heard Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis...i didnt even kno they had a sex scene lol BUT i didnt hurt once i found out. Once I saw the trailer (below) i knew i had to see it. I was geeked ever since.
honestly, it was everything that i hoped it would be. it was intense, weird, sexual, complex and beautiful. if u dont kno by now, ive always wanted to be a ballerina, so from the 1st scene i was into it. im sure the friend that i went with saw a gleam in my eyes that only happens on rare occasions. And the dancing was nothing short of awesome. I was very impressed with Mila for the simple fact that she didnt have any ballet training prior to the movie. Im not sure about Natalie, but she was perfection, regardless.
i enjoyed the dynamics of the characters. the mother-daughter relationship was particularly intriguing. i dont want to ruin it for anyone who hasnt seen it but at the end of the day they both were a little crazy WHILE both being very innocent and loving. Natalie Portman's character was a very interesting. I thought her character was very pure, even in her insanity. She lived her craft to the point where it consumed her. We should all be so lucky...as morbid as that sounds. And at the end of the day, no matter how u look at it, she was "perfect".
i dont want to go into it any further cuz its a fairly new movie, and i hate spoilers. The only thing that i didnt like about it was the way the camera bounced with the action. I understand and appreciate the effect but it made my head hurt. Otherwise, Black Swan is worth every penny. It will keep u guessing, smiling, cringing, and occasionally closing ur eyes.
So a couple of days ago my husband reminded me of this "childhood" movie that i absolutely loved, but neither of us could remember the name. Then today he was perusing thru one of his fb friends albums and randomly came across the poster! go figure.
I'm assuming we were allowed to watch this movie becuz it was a cartoon. unfortunately, our naive parents hadnt (and some still havent) come across Adult Swim yet lol.
