Gucci Ice Cream Mane

"Gucci Mane has reappeared after his stint in a mental institution with a new tattoo---an ice cream cone on his face.

As previously reported, the 1017 Brick Squad member entered a special plea that he was “mentally incompetent” and unable to fight prosecutor's attempts to revoke his probation.

Since then he's been released and spotted at Atlanta's Tenth Street Tattoo shop with owner Shane Willoughby.

Tattoo shop worker Jason Murray posted the pictures to his Twitter account showing Gucci's etched face with three scoops of ice cream, the word “brrr” and a red lightning bolt." Read More

Moutain Top Water Drop/ I'm Still Here

"I'm Still Here" is like watching a car crash...except ur not really afraid or sad about it...ur just kind of amazed and intrigued. Of course, after all the chaos you hope everyone survives...but u kinda of appreciate the fact that SOMETHING/ONE is out of control. That we're not all doing the speed limit. That we are not all driving in a str8 line.

Joaquin is spoiled, passionate, delusional, sincere, etc. Its an interesting look into the celebrity; the struggle, the entitlement, the self-consciousness. Joaquin is like a prince trapped in his castle.

I think what's more interesting than Joaquin's quest to find his place, is how ppl respond to him. They isolate him. They look at him like its obsurd...and in a sense it is, but ppl have no respect for "the individual". ppl love to hate you...becuz ppl are afraid to be you. I respect Diddy for at least being patient with him. And Mos Def was polite. But everyone else was patronizing and cynical. the ppl around him in general are were no better. they indulged him in his tantrums and impulsive desires.

i have to admit that i eventually began to wonder when the tragedy would end...or at least the movie, but not enuff to actually turn it off. so i think that counts for something.

I respect his G.

Black Swan

"Black Swan follows the story of Nina (Natalie Portman), a ballerina in a New York City ballet company whose life, like all those in her profession, is completely consumed with dance. She lives with her retired ballerina mother Erica (Barbara Hershey) who zealously supports her daughter’s professional ambition. When artistic director Thomas Leroy (Vincent Cassel) decides to replace prima ballerina Beth MacIntyre (Winona Ryder) for the opening production of their new season, Swan Lake, Nina is his first choice. But Nina has competition: a new dancer, Lily (Mila Kunis), who impresses Leroy as well.

Swan Lake requires a dancer who can play both the White Swan with innocence and grace, and the Black Swan, who represents guile and sensuality. Nina fits the White Swan role perfectly but Lily is the personification of the Black Swan. As the two young dancers expand their rivalry into a twisted friendship, Nina begins to get more in touch with her dark side with a recklessness that threatens to destroy her."

let me 1st say that i was thrilled once i heard Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis...i didnt even kno they had a sex scene lol BUT i didnt hurt once i found out. Once I saw the trailer (below) i knew i had to see it. I was geeked ever since.

honestly, it was everything that i hoped it would be. it was intense, weird, sexual, complex and beautiful. if u dont kno by now, ive always wanted to be a ballerina, so from the 1st scene i was into it. im sure the friend that i went with saw a gleam in my eyes that only happens on rare occasions. And the dancing was nothing short of awesome. I was very impressed with Mila for the simple fact that she didnt have any ballet training prior to the movie. Im not sure about Natalie, but she was perfection, regardless.

i enjoyed the dynamics of the characters. the mother-daughter relationship was particularly intriguing. i dont want to ruin it for anyone who hasnt seen it but at the end of the day they both were a little crazy WHILE both being very innocent and loving. Natalie Portman's character was a very interesting. I thought her character was very pure, even in her insanity. She lived her craft to the point where it consumed her. We should all be so lucky...as morbid as that sounds. And at the end of the day, no matter how u look at it, she was "perfect".

i dont want to go into it any further cuz its a fairly new movie, and i hate spoilers. The only thing that i didnt like about it was the way the camera bounced with the action. I understand and appreciate the effect but it made my head hurt. Otherwise, Black Swan is worth every penny. It will keep u guessing, smiling, cringing, and occasionally closing ur eyes.

Crazy?

"The Rorschach test has been more art than psychiatry for some time now, but it still makes for a great party game. To that end, Redstone Press is introducing a dozen new inkblots with a built-in personality test, perfect for playful second-date psychological analysis, or explaining away any lingering craziness you might have kicking around. They all just look like furries to us." - Russell Brandom
