Cool World

So a couple of days ago my husband reminded me of this "childhood" movie that i absolutely loved, but neither of us could remember the name. Then today he was perusing thru one of his fb friends albums and randomly came across the poster! go figure.

I'm assuming we were allowed to watch this movie becuz it was a cartoon. unfortunately, our naive parents hadnt (and some still havent) come across Adult Swim yet lol.

nigga, what?!

speaking of pimps! *looks around*

today as i was driving, i saw a nice fellow wearing a purple and gold shirt, a purple du-rag AND purple fedora with a unlit cigerrette hanging from his mouth as he walked from the bus stop. he was the type of nigga that made u feel too cool for school just by looking at him. on site u instantly lean back in ur seat and start saying slick, ignorant shit to urself (usually in incoherent mumblings). and u find urself saying, "look at this nigga here!", with a strange sense of euphoric pride. this is a sad, true story. such is life.

UPDATE

'Born Into Brothels' leads to real-life happy endings for some
By Teresa Wiltz, The Washington Post February 25, 2005

For those who've seen the Oscar-nominated ''Born Into Brothels," the documentary that tracks the children of Calcutta's red light district, the ending lingers long after one has left the cinema: images of sweet-faced kids, wisecracking kids, talented kids, kids faced with not-so-happy endings.

The question persists: What happened next?
