"On Wednesday evening House Republican Leader Eric Cantor described to reporters* an abrupt end to debt ceiling talks at the White House. Cantor tells reporters that President Obama “walked out” and appeared 'very agitated, seemingly.'
Cantor also recounted Obama telling the assembled political leaders that, 'he ‘had sat here long enough, and that no other president — Ronald Reagan wouldn’t sit here like this.’' Cantor says he was taken aback when Obama warned him, 'Eric, don’t call my bluff. I’m going to the American people with this.'

"The morning after is usually a bittersweet time. You’ll find yourself waking up, one eye still closed, looking at pictures from the night before. I normally can't say what my exact favorite "this or that" is, but i've always said that Moonlight Sonata was my MOST favorite song. Can't really tell you why. I just kinda always felt like......my soul #shruglife

"Actually the full title of this song is “An Echo From the Hosts That Profess Infinitum” –which is not as long “Reaching A New Refutation of Time and Space” but is definitely weirder. In case you don’t get the connection, Shabazz Palaces is the newest project of Ishmael “Butterfly” Butler who first refuted time and space with the Digable Planets (there might be some other people in the group but he won’t say). In some ways the futuristic Palaces sound is a logical progression from the Planets alien conceit, if not their jazz fetish. But just to keep you guessing that conceit is replaced with an alternate-universe version of Islamic/Middle Eastern history, kind of an Afrocentric answer to what Peter Lamborn Wilson did with his Hakim Bey persona. Except Hakim Bey couldn’t rap."

This is my song from the comp, a new joint I made with G.O.O.D. Music’s latest recruit CyHi Da Prynce. I don’t think CyHi is up on my Sunglasses Is A Must past so I was amused when he chose this theme for the song. When you think about it… first I made “Pro Nails” for Kid Sister; then I sent Lupe a beat and he did “Me & My Sneakers” (also called “Mastered”); and now I have this song about shades. Am I like the accessories guy now? At this point I’m thinking if I send Murs a beat he’ll make a song about murses. Not a bad idea…
